Can someone from the field provide examples of specific drugs or break through therapies that are approved for human use that we would not have had without breakthroughs in protein folding compute?

The article claims to use charts to make things clearer, but I've been staring at this circle chart for over a minute now and still can't figure out if the values are in the radius or the area. I now think it's the area, but it's such a bad choice, especially with the overlaps. I probably would go with a tree map for this, but a plain two col table would also be so much better.
